I TRY IT AGAIN AND IT'S OK NOW.When I first configured flarum, I didn't fill in the correct sql, but when I refreshed, it displayed "Update Flarum", I want to ask how to delete the configuration.

May I know if there is any solutions? Thank you so much!

BTW, I am using HelioHost to host my web~

sorry for not answering before.
It seems like a timeout issue.

I would have loved to help you in greater details and attempted to find a solution to make it work for you, however, my personal life is very hectic at the moment.

My workplace is preparing to shutdown the following weeks due to the current crisis leaves me little time. Additionally, my wife is in 3rd trimester, and kindergarten is closed. So... my downtime is basically spent on juggling my 4yo and housekeeping so my wife gets some well needed rest when I am hope from work.

Looks like i just got it to work.
I deleted everything and have try it again and it was just running fine now.
Not sure if this was the problem, but i have switched nginx in the proxymode to using apache and increased the limits of my PHP settings.

It's 99% likely that the issue in question is a result of your server not having enough RAM for composer to run properly. This isn't an issue with pockethold as much as with composer and the installation process itself. We are aware of this, and there are plans to make installation simpler and easier for shared hosting. Unfortunately, in the meantime, composer is the only officially supported way to install flarum, so you might want to look into shared hosts that are friendler when it comes to composer.

I cant even pass the getting status step, it doesnt show anything, just infinite loading and ive been waiting for about 15 mins

i tried installing Flarum on two servers.

i see "Getting Status" for over 20-minutes. any ideas what should i do?

both have different domain and hosting registrants.

Requirements.

cUrl or allow_url_fopen, proc_open) - done
PHP Memory limit at least 512M - done
Rougly 3 - 5 minutes of your time.

help needed 😀

updated: i went for fleeflarum.com option. can't bother with technical things.

Hei, it is getting stuck on Getting Status, but the console gives the error:
Uncaught SyntaxError: missing ) after argument list pockethold.js:28
Can this be contributing to being stuck at getting status, or this is irrelevant?

@andreherberth and users of pockethold. Please understand that bazaar has been abandoned and is no longer working. My deepest apologies for the inconvenience caused.

ohdudeeee Pockethold still gives this ability. But,
without Bazaar, I am not completely sure if it is worth it.

Freeflarum then seems like a better option for most in a situation where SSH is not an option. Freeflarum at least comes bundled with with many extensions.

@luceos I am sad this decision was made, but, I do understand it.
