Okay, so I know this makes me cheap, but I recently found Flarum and would love to try it out. However, I have one VPS that is currently in use and cannot fit another running instance. My other VPSs are hosted by SkySilk, who formats them in such a way that both Docker and Composer are impossible (at the moment). But, I'm thinking I could still use Flarum on a shared web hosting server, mostly because of this message on the installation page:
Note: As of 0.1.0-beta.3, Flarum utilizes Composer to manage its dependencies and extensions. This means that Flarum cannot be installed on hosts without SSH (command-line) access.
It says as of 0.1.0-beta.3, but what about earlier versions? I wasn't here before the most recent update, so I missed out on previous versions. Does that mean that an earlier (less feature-packed) version could be installed on a shared hosting platform? If so, is there an archive where I can download this earlier version to try to install?
Thanks!
