Is the current version will be supported to update once the 1.0 released?

I have noticed that current version of flarum is not for production environment, but I'm intend to use it as my local community's online platform software. So I'm wondering if current version will be able to upgrade smoothly to say the 1.0 or a official public version later?

I'm excited about Flarum in general. It doesn't have to be at stable release for me to be happy. The forum as is serves my project/s and I perfectly so anything better than this is a bonus. ?

Fact: Flarum is pretty much stable right now.

There are just few pieces missing but it works flawlessly.
