Here it works fine, but it doesn't work for my installation of beta5.

Support for Reddit threads was added a few months ago but yes, it's possible that the version running your board is older. I'm afraid you'll have to wait for the next update.

You can still embed individual Reddit comments though.

Imgur's album embed appears to be broken. Probably nothing you can do anything about?

Imgur's embedded album broke a while ago and I changed it to their new uglier version but I think the version of s9e\TextFormatter installed with Flarum predates it. I'm afraid you'll have to wait for Flarum's dependencies to catch up.

Probably but I couldn't say how off the top of my head. I guess you could edit Flarum's composer.json and change the version number for the library. That would probably work better.

It's somewhere in the vendor directory in flarum/core.

JoshyPHP I set the version to 0.8.3 and did a composer update in vendor\flarum\core, it's still not working though.

Kakifrucht That's the old embed. Try clearing Flarum's cache. If you toggle an extension it think should clear the cache.

Hi,
I am just starting up with Flarum.

When I try the command listed
"./composer.phar require s93/flarum-ext-mediaembed"

I get this error:

[InvalidArgumentException]

Is this extension still working with the newest code? What am I doing wrong?

facepalm - sorry what a dumb mistake on my part.

So I installed both mediaembed and autovideo, and turned the extensions on in admin.

So here's an example where I'm trying to embed. The embedding doesn't work on the post, but, curiously if I hit "edit" I see the embeds. So I know the extension is working, but for some reason it's not showing up in the actual post.

That seems like a caching issue. Could be a bug in Flarum or something related to an opcode cache.

JoshyPHP First of all thank you for this great extension, one question I've noticed that almost all social links can't embed the profile, is there any particular reason why it isn't? ( i.e. https://twitter.com/mdo )

wayann Half the time it's because it's not possible. As far as Twitter timelines are concerned I feel like it's not very useful. It seems like more potential issues (e.g. losing the ability to link to profiles, or people incorrectly linking to a profile rather than a specific tweet) than it's worth.
