JoshyPHP ok i understand, or vidio.com i think this platform not spammy. Not use english language but its not dificult i think i seen there are rutube who use russian language that u can provide (rutube). Vidio.com sites like youtube. Hope u not difficult to add this site.

If cant, i hope you can give any recommendation for easyly sharing video except youtube and google drive from sites that s9e already provided.

JoshyPHP Quick note about future development. I don't have an up-to-date Flarum install at the moment so if you're having issues with this extensions, try fof/formatting instead.

Wouldn't it be easier to mark this extension as abandoned and forward support to the FoF extension instead? This moves responsibility over the integration of the libraries for Flarum out of your way..

For YouTube embed videos extension:

I think would be cool and more clean if you can remove the related videos with the ?rel=0 or &rel=0 parameter.

JoshyPHP I meant mark it as abandoned on packagist.org. Before we do we need to confirm the fof package does everything this one does, I can't say for sure, @datitisev ?

luceos Yep! This extension only enables the MediaPack bundle, and fof/formatting does it when MediaEmbed is from the settings.

maruco No, the way extensions work has changed since then. You'll need to find a tutorial for the latest Flarum API or check out Flarum's own Emoji extension. The line that starts with $event->configurator should still be valid though.

I tried uninstalling but I can't. It keeps throwing out this error.

Skinnymoonhunter this is a known issue that will be fixed in the next beta https://github.com/flarum/core/pull/1580

However unlike the name suggests the uninstall button only rolls back database migration and doesn't actually uninstall anything. This extension doesn't have any migration, so it would have no effect anyway.

To remove the extension package, use Composer. composer remove s9e/flarum-ext-mediaembed
