I like this extension. But, I may need to try messing with the styling. I feel like the custom fields take up too much space in the posting box. Using the two or three column layout helps, but, I still feel like it takes up too much space. I'm also talking about on a desktop. I actually didn't test it on my phone. Now, if you put the posting box into full screen mode it's fine. But, I always worry that a user may not realize they can do that.
The ultimate version of this extension I think would be to make it like the tags work. Or like how the Polls extension works. You click on something which opens all the custom fields in a pop up. Something like this would be at the top of the post box (imagine these are buttons):
[choose tags] [title of custom fields] Discussion Title
Click on the title of the custom fields, and a pop up appears.
