For whoever likes an easy search through extensions, the official Flarum Discord server now runs a bot called Flagrow that allows you to do exactly that.

Just mention the bot and type search <term> and the bot will give you a nice overview of extensions.

It's also able to spit out some lovely statistics.

Prosperous Indeed. Time is the most crucial factor in development. However, money is obviously a key component to get Flarum over the hurdle. If it isn't, management would not be trying to obtain funds through Patreon etc? [I'm an investor who truly believes that a proper forum platform is sorely needed.]

Hi guys, Patreon just changed their transaction costs which is making both creators/donors of small amounts mad...

I've recently used Donorbox which is a more dev-friendly patreon style DIY SaaS, it costs 0,89 % of your total donations (They only charge you if you get more than 1000$ in the month), and you can plug it in both to PayPal (As a regular user, you only need to provide a valid PayPal address, No business account required), and Stripe, using Stripe connect seamlessly.

You also get recurring/one time donations out of the box, donor csv export, personal feedback form for donors, widgets, and a lot of stuff that makes more sense than giving away your traffic to another platform.

I think they're free or offer discounts for Open Source!

Growacetplz it's more related to time than you'd think. Money in this case is to provide our core devs with a little cushion so they can focus less time on client work and more time on Flarum development.

If I want to make a one-time donation, I tend to be deterred by the idea of setting up a recurring donation in Patreon and then canceling it after one month. Donorbox sounds good too.
