kestendi you have to use constrait ^0.2 for beta7. The latest 0.3 is already ready for beta8 ?

SHC If you add a dependency to composer file you can specify your own version contraint like luceos suggests in the first post. There is also a way to give the constraint with the require command but I don't know it by heart.

By the way this extension doesn't do anything on its own. It only makes sense as a dependency of another extension.

This is an amazing extension ! But I cannot find a way to make a scheduled task work. I made the exact same thing that is done in the Bazaar extension, but my task only runs if I call it from the Terminal, it never runs automatically every minute. For now all that my task does is logging into the debug console.
I also tried to clone the Bazaar extenson and add a debug log to the handle() method of the Flagrow\Bazaar\Console\TaskCommand but it has the exact same behavior as my own extension : the task doesn't seem to be scheduled at all.

I'm using the version 0.4.3 of flagrow/console because I am running my Flarum instance on beta 8.1

iPurpl3x I'm not entirely sure scheduling still works, even though it should. You can still create a Console Command and configure it manually within a cron(tab/job).

EDIT : I managed to make it work !! This was not so easy, as I run a docker container and had to schedule my task on the host.

0.5.2 tagged which fixes the issue with 0.5.1 and every extension using console, if you received the following error in any extension it has been fixed:

The upcoming Flarum 1.0 release now has the ability to schedule console commands directly, therefore this package will not be required moving forward.

We have marked fof/console as 'abandoned' on Packagist, but this will continue to function normally on older installations.

When the time comes to upgrade your forum to 1.0, you'll need to remove this package prior to upgrading, using the following command:

composer remove fof/console
