luceos That is fair enough a position. Although, the ability to benefit from upvotes, as well as the rewards pool, when you publish an update via Utopian, or when contributors discover bugs or submit pull-requests, that can not be delivered via Patreon. Neither will Patreon ever offer the exposure projects joining Utopian [early on] can benefit.
I hold no Steem, not more than organically from posting and it is even more important to know that I actually pitched Utopian.io, which most likely may become a Smart Media Token and as such even almost completely detach from Steem. Investments in Utopian, or even an ICO, will not flow back to the Steem blockchain and its members.
Please, do slightly better homework than claiming people may be biased if they think they may have discovered something rather big, something totally disruptive and selectively pitch that [more specifically verticals built on it] to those who could actually truly benefit from it.
Not my loss though. Most definitely the loss of the flarum community, sadly enough.
Addendum: I actually started theSteemObserver, as a news project to highlight all awesome which happens on the Steem blockchain.
