Hi, I am not getting my admin email with password after creating a new forum. Is there other ways I could get this password?

You're not the only facing this issue. AFAIK, only GMail and QQ users are affected. If it's urgent, you could use a temporary mail service or some service that will accept the mail I guess.

Upon dozens of failed attempts, the mail seems to finally work now, or at least for GMail.

We apologize to everyone that couldn't create their forum past week and this week.

In case you have registered a forum and didn't receive the mail and want to re-create it, please reply to this thread or mail us at info@freeflarum.com. I will remove the "broken" forum, so you can re-create it and receive the password.

Yeah, but when someone sends an email to FF, it doesn't arrive. Strange. At least we can send mail, so I guess this is a half-win. Maybe tomorrow, the other half will be fixed.

Edit: Ah, I get what you mean now. Yes, you can use password recovery to recover your forum.

Mails should now work properly, also on my side since I was using the old Mailgun settings. I will have to use my personal address. Totally forgot about that 🤦

There is, however, still a chance that some mail will end up in the deferred mail queue. This is where invalid mails that couldn't be sent end up - such as when an E-Mail address is invalid or misspelt, FreeFlarum is not able to send it so it places it into this queue. So, if an E-Mail doesn't arrive at our server, there is a chance that it got caught there. In the case none of us replies within 24 hours, please re-send your mail.

Anyone registered a new user on abc.flarum.cloud ? I have been trying on one of my instances from last week. I thought it is some JS error and skipped it. Now a user who tried to register on admintech.flarum.cloud reported that the register modal stays with a spinning icon. No registration happens.

It would be nice to have a bit of help here. Thanks.

meetdilip give us a bit more of context there. What are the extensions you're using? Did you recently changed anything?

I'll check it for you, but I'm on mobile rn, so an error log from console in your browser will be helpful. You can determine whether it's an extension or Flarum error by looking at the source of the problematic files from there.

Hi, I have a forum on FreeFlarum. I'm relatively new and having a hard time with the imgur uploader and even the default image linker. I can't seem to get it working, it just doesn't load any image.

Does anyone have any tips here?

SKevo Sure, I'm using IMGUR Upload extension. I just figured it out. I had to disable the FoF Secure HTTPS extension that converts images to HTTPS to get it to work.

Now I see I have another issue, that the image can't be the last line in the page. It needs to have a space below to render, something CSS related here.
