xdass that's currently not possible without having an extension to do just that, by editing the templates directly or by making a precise HTML & CSS combination to move a piece of header/footer HTML to where you want it, and that is very badly optimized. I guess you could use header & footer HTML under Appearance settings, that will allow you to create a custom header/footer, but you cannot place elements to the side of the screen.

Hi there,

I am currently having some issues with my forum. I contacted @clarkwinkelmann via a separate discussion and he told me to run the following command: php flarum migrate

I was wondering if you could run the command for me, since I do not know if I can myself.
My forum is hosted under https://learnleaf.flarum.cloud.

skspuddd I ran the command for you and cleared the cache, let me know if your issue still persists. FYI, no, you cannot run any commands by yourself on FreeFlarum.

SKevo The issue was with FoF Best Answer.

It used to show the debug information, but now it doesn't.
On reload, the Best Answer for a problem goes away.

Any idea on how to fix?

Yes, the error is still occurring.

Some columns are missing in the database, and that's likely to be the cause. I could manually create them. You can try clearing the cache and disabling, then re-enabling the extension too. I am not sure when Flarum creates the columns, but re-enabling the extension might help.

SKevo Just tried clearing cache, disabling then re-enabling, the problem is still there.
Feel free to create the missing columns in the DB manually.

It could've also been just a small issue on FreeFlarum's side, as noone reported this issue before. Or it happens, but still noone reported it 🤷

However I don't see how it could have been marked as migrated without the column existing. An error must have happened during the first time the extension was enabled. Without the log of that original error or a way to reproduce on a fresh install, it's impossible to tell what went wrong and whether it's extension or hosting related.

clarkwinkelmann yes, exactly. I will look into it, but my best guess is that during the column creation, an error occurred and it wasn't created, as you said. I will check if other forums have this issue, and if not, then means that it was just a small bug we can't really fix.

hey @SKevo. i dint know 250 user limit. What happens when over 250 users?

There are 10-15 active people, but the total number of users has exceeded 600. Most people who became members became inactive. Will it create a situation that negatively affects Freeflarum?

xdass I don't think so. It shouldn't negatively affect FreeFlarum. But if it will, an action will be taken. FYI FreeFlarum hosts a few other forums that have more than 250 users & posts, and those function just okay. Also, if your other users are not active, I believe that it is not a problem, since no traffic is generated.

I have a weird glitch with private discussions. When I send them, it hangs there, I have a "Something went wrong" error but the message was actually sent. Is it just me?

This seems like an issue in your mail settings. Byobu then can't send the mail notification when a new discussion is started with you. Please, double-check them and let me know if that helped. If not, I can reset them for you.
