Hi, I'm new here. I wanna know how to install external extension to Freeflarum?

    Does it support independent import of Flarum website database?

      hdzz_top if you mean importing your own Flarum database to FreeFlarum, then no, not currently. But you can always download your FreeFlarum forum's database.

      For everybody else, I am testing the beta.15 update on a test forum right now.

          FreeFlarum beta.15 update status

          As you might've already noticed in this discussion, I've again spent a day testing everything related to beta.15 on a test FreeFlarum beta forum.

          I must say that this update was definitely easier than the beta.14(.1) update. I'd like to thank @IanM, who did a fantastic job at preparing most, if not all, of the FoF extensions to beta.15 before it was even released. Also huge thanks to all other developers, all of our supporters and customers. All of you have contributed with your little to this update, which allowed us to update this fast.

          Extensions that didn't make it:

          ...and that's everything! Definitely a lesser loss than the loss in beta.14.1. All of the missing extensions will be re-added as soon as compatible versions are available.

          "New" extensions:

          As always, the update might take at around 6-12 hours to finish for all forums. We're starting to upgrade right now, and you do not need to do anything other than to wait - your forum will be updated automatically. I apologize in advance for any possible downtimes or errors caused by this upgrade. Thank you everyone, and enjoy!

            IanM that seems very cool, but might generate a lot of mails (when Follow Tags is used too), which could lead to flagging FreeFlarum's mails as spam. We might look into this, but we also don't want to add extensions that haven't been requested yet. Maybe someday 🙂

                Great! I'll be working on that fof/polls issue within the next 2 hours or so, will let you know when it's done..

                    SKevo I'll get mine updated in a bit, technically it's only a composer.json update as the new admin dashboard still works with the old settings modals. I'll get these things fixed up over the next day or so.

                    Edit: I've updated the extension, packagist should pick it up in a bit.

                          SKevo Should all the forums work? I still get the message "An error occurred while trying to load this page.

                              cchase111 no, but technically we could do it for you. I will try to do some tests tomorrow to see if this can be implemented in the settings though
