lakshya it is currently not possible. I remember that there was some extend.php script that extended the limit and there was a discussion on that here on Discuss, but I can't find it. Also, FreeFlarum synces files for all forums, so we can't really make specific exceptions

Academic or not, anyone should be able to provide a subject similar to email subjects. You don't want those to be long either as they aren't rendered in most mail clients anyhow.

The best way is to provide community guidelines that offer suggestions on what you think are good titles. You will still need to do some moderation on titles to keep the awful ones at bay or to improve SEO, in fact that is what I do on occasion too here on discuss.

I am not discouraging you. But if you check those SEO guidelines online you can clearly see that Google does not like topic headlines that are too long. I think you mistook the fact that headings/URL should be descriptive. While it should be, a long URL is always a very very bad idea if you are focusing on SEO benefits.

I am now really worried of the member limit and frequent TOO MANY REQUESTS ERROR............I don't know anything[means nothing, mariadb, PHP, composer etc.....] I was just blessed by having freeflarum......but now the only thing that is stopping me go fluently is this problem........if more than limited members joined,.....i can't install flarum..........

lakshya "Too Many Requests" happen when you're too fast between requests and you're being rate limited. This is to prevent spam and it's set the same accross all forums. We could increase the threshold, but then the server load might be higher (as we allow more requests per client). This should have nothing to do with user limit, as FreeFlarum doesn't have a check when particular member limit is increased.

You're the only one who is having too many requests error, so I don't see the point of increasing it for all forums and risk having more concurrent requests which will result in higher server load globally. Noone else reported this problem so far anyways, and that error should be limiting requests per client, so perhaps don't be so fast between requests and you'll be fine. If it's somewhat related to your high user count, we can't do much about that other than kindly provide you a database dump and ask you to move elsewhere, as we do not support forums with huge traffic.

The limits are five times the average of all users of the service. Specifically, this means that no more than 250 users per forum are supported.

...and more than ~ 50 visitors active at the same time, interacting with the forum by viewing or participating in discussions.

I don't know user count of your forum. If it's not that big, the error has nothing to do with user count as it should be per user, and it does not depend on visitor count. I wrote the part about user limits because I took in account the possibility that 429 can be triggered when there are too many requests from all users, but on second thought I remembered that PHP-FPM handles it per client, so what I wrote was pretty much a nonsense

Put simply, don't be so fast between clicking, posting discussions, page reloads and similar stuff and you're fine.

julienlg the error happened because I updated extensions for all forums and the files need to be synced accross them first. If they're not, an error might appear.

I have priority synced your forum, so the error should be gone now

Hey what happened to Google login(OAUTH).......It disappeared from my forum....both from the site and from the extension options in admin panel

julienlg it's not compatible since like beta.14. I will install one as soon as I find an alternative. Since we add extensions based on GitHub requests, I do not often look for replacements - this means that if you know one that is compatible with current Flarum version that FreeFlarum is using, let us know

lakshya I've installed Luuhai's Google support for FoF OAuth, after your forum is synced you can enable that extension and then edit the settings at FoF OAuth's page

lakshya For some reason, FoF OAuth was downgraded to lower version which didn't have Google PR installed yet. I've now upgraded it to the latest version, so it should be included by default, without needing Luuhai's patch.

Along with that, all extensions should now have latest versions installed. Composer's requirements can be complicated sometimes, so I apologize for that

SKevo You may want to run composer outdated from time to time to identify outdated extensions. Dependencies may be quite complex and sometimes you may end up with outdated release.
