SKevo When can we expect this to be available to use on FreeFlarum?

Thanks.

temey74938 I don't know, sorry. Of course, when it becomes beta.16, but I don't know when will the author update the extension

SKevo I understand. So we can integrate this when the team announces beta 16? Or when the plugin updates for beta 16?

      Thanks

temey74938 FreeFlarum will update all forums to beta.16 when most of the extensions we have available get updated to that version. The incompatible rest will be removed and re-added when the developers update them. No extension data will be lost (so you won't have to re-setup extensions that were re-added later - the data will stay in the database).

I check for extension compatibility against beta.16 frequently, and if most extensions will be compatible next weekend, we could update. Of course, in case of this extension, this solely depends on the author when and if the update will arrive. But when it does, it'll be included

julienlg working on it, priority fixed yours.

You will need to clear your browser cache, as browsers cache domain setups (you can test it in private browsing)

            SKevo @Sanguine

            Thanks it works now.

But I have a problem with email sending.

I have try everything; gmail, custom domain smtp, sendinblue and Postmark but it's not working.

What is the best way ?

julienlg I'll look at it later, I'm busy right now. Sorry

For anyone wondering what happened, it was because I was fixing configs for every forum with custom host. If you used old FreeFlarum's URL, you'd not be redirected to the page, but instead Chrome's privacy screen was shown. This should no longer happen and you should be redirected normally. I apologize for the inconveniences. If it's still not working, please try it in private browsing/incognito/clear your browser cache.

julienlg I have found the following error for your forum:

flarum.ERROR: Swift_RfcComplianceException: Address in mailbox given [Batteries Forum] does not comply with RFC 2822, 3.6.2. in [...]

I have never seen this, so I have no idea what this means, sorry. What provider are you using right now? And is there any reason why you aren't using FreeFlarum's default mail server?

                SKevo

                I have no idea myself.

Until yesterday I was using Gmail but today I have try Postmark because Gmail was not working.

If I use the driver "mail" it's not working.

Do you have the possibility to reset my email setting to default ?

julienlg yes, I've manually set it to defaults in the database, please check it.

                  Mail port: 25
                  Mail driver: SMTP
                  Mail from: noreply+<yourforumname>@freeflarum.com
                  Mail host: 127.0.0.1

Everything else should be blank. If it's not like this, please manually edit it and see if it works

julienlg not even with the settings above?

                    The error is still:

flarum.ERROR: Swift_RfcComplianceException: Address in mailbox given [Batteries Forum] does not comply with RFC 2822, 3.6.2.

"Address in mailbox given" could mean that the "From" address is wrong? A screenshot of the configuration would be useful

SKevo sounds like the "sender" value is Batteries Forum but it should be an email address.

Why does suspending user for a limited time does not work appropriately.............means does it work?

And, if yes then what should we write in the input box......HOURS, DAYS, MINUTES, SECONDS.....etc

And one more question does the user automatically gets unsuspended after the given time?

lakshya Flarum actually saves the suspendedUntil value behind the scene, which is the date at which the suspension will end. It's indeed automatic.

The Flarum UI only offers to choose days which will be converted to a date, but if you use the REST API you can actually specify the date and time of the end of the suspension very precisely.

clarkwinkelmann Okay so does the definite suspension automatically ends the suspension status to unsuspended after the provided time?
