SKevo Ok. The remaining problem is how to solve that annoying flag. Maybe I have to disable the flags extension🙁

PSA: FreeFlarum + all forums will be down for the next 1 to 6 hours due to an urgent server migration. Will keep you updated here.

...and all forums are back up! This was a crazy fast migration. Thanks to great efforts and preparations by @SKevo and lightning fast servers from Hetzner!

Our old server is now proxying connections to the new server, while DNS changed propagate. Do let us know if you encounter something unexpected

    High five!
    Team FreeFlarum

Seems like polls always show a 0% votes on all options, even though when checking on "View voters" you can see that there are. Hope I managed to explain myself, see screenshots

      This is what you see

This is when I press "View voters"

arteteco doesn't seem like FreeFlarum related. I don't know what's your forum name, so I can't verify that either. But in 99 % cases, extension issues are not related to FreeFlarum and you should report this to the FoF Polls discussion. FreeFlarum can't provide support for extension related issues, and those should be mentioned in separate threads, just like we had explained earlier.

cmaul about which site? If you mean the FreeFlarum service as a whole, then the migration has already been finished. If your forum isn't working for whatever reason, let us know (also please include your forum name or URL in the message)

cmaul remove the WWW, it has bugged. I'll look at it and probably just redirect WWW to non-WWW, as it is outdated and shouldn't be used

Anybody else having issues trying to change their forum's custom domain?

SlickNicky10 I have tested it now with my domain and it worked, could you try again now please?

Current situation is that we have 5 more bugs to fix: 1 with backups not being created and 4 small ones. Keep in mind that we are doing what we can, but our spare time is very limited. We will provide some last minute fixes as soon as possible to ensure the stability of the service. If you see any other issues, please report them to us - by mail or this discussion. Thank you for being patient

SKevo all issues mentioned should be patched (except for your beta forum, which we'll move away from production server anyways). If you experience any issues, please let us know.

I will test beta.16 update tomorrow, and if everything goes well we might finally update all forums during the weekend.

              Hello,
i am using free flarum, with Progressive Web App Configuration, i get this error (The gmp PHP extension and minishlink/web-push library (composer require minishlink/web-push) MUST be enabled for push notifications to work.)
              how can I fix it
              Thanks

Is the website down? I can't get it to load.

The WWW stopped working. I am not sure what caused our fix to break, but I admit that this is an error on my behalf - I wanted to remove WWW because it is outdated when we migrated. Turns out that yes, I have removed it - but Nginx WWW does not redirect to the working non-WWW for some reason

For now, just always accessing https://freeflarum.com instead of https://www.freeflarum.com is applicable. I am looking for a fix right now

                  Edit: Fixed

How many users can register on my forum using FreeFlarum.com?

Also, if I ever needed to could I download everything, posts, users, etc and import into a self hosted Flarum?

WRDO fixed, syncing all extensions right now

aaronhall How many users can register on my forum using FreeFlarum.com?

The service applies a fair use policy towards resources (storage, server capacity and traffic) of free accounts.

The limits are five times the average of all users of the service. Specifically, this means that no more than 250 users per forum are supported.

This limit may be surpassed and your forum can function properly, however we do not provide support for forums above the limit because we don't officially support them - if you want to run a busy forum, your best option might be to self-host it instead.

(as stated in https://freeflarum.com/docs/legal/terms/, rule 3)

aaronhall Also, if I ever needed to could I download everything, posts, users, etc and import into a self hosted Flarum?

Yes. You can download your database dump and avatars from https://freeflarum.com/settings

Okay, thanks!! So, if I understand right, my forum can have no more than 250 people join it?... if I want support? Anything past 250 I don't get support for my forum anymore, right?

aaronhall That's correct, because FreeFlarum was not made to support higher numbers. It is possible to have more users (some forums that we host do) but we can't fix things if your forum crashes or is slow
