askvortsov I would recommend adding a listener for extension enabled/disabled that clears the cache as a local extender in y'all skeleton.

No, AFAIK that was never the case (not sure if beta.16 changed this)

That's very unlikely, since the error is logged server-side, and after cache is cleared, you can access the forum without any problems, without the need to also clear browser cache

      I activated the progressive web app extension, mostly just to check it out, and now my forum only display this message:

      Flarum encountered a boot error. Details have been logged to the Flarum log file.

      My forum is https://forum.asnuaps.it, any help fixing it?

        arteteco fixed, look a few posts above. This error is very common and it can be fixed by clearing the cache. I have tried to setup a listener to clear the cache automatically on extension enable/disable, but since I have very little PHP experience and spare time to debug it, I haven't made any progress on that.

        For now, if anyone else experiences an error upon enabling PWA, just ping me anywhere and I will clear the cache for you

            I uploaded the logos for PWA and everything seems properly set up but I still can't receive notifications (tested on chrome in android and ubuntu). Just to help me understand why, is there some known issues with push notifications in freeflarum?

                arteteco there shouldn't be any issues as far as I know, but I haven't tested it since beta.15. I do not have much free time at the moment, so I haven't really invested it in FreeFlarum to be honest. That means that even if there is a bug, we might not be aware of it.

                Also keep in mind that if there is a bug in Flarum or an extension, we are in 99 % cases powerless here because we are not affiliated with Flarum or any extension author

                          Sharanyan not at the moment because there is no way to automatically import a database dump - but I am willing to do it manually for you, if you want that (and when I find some free time). I wonder - why would you want to move from self-hosting to a free service? Your options will become more limited, and self-hosting ensures you to have full control over your forum

                                    Question about fof/upload. Obviously you're not the author, however, I'm wondering if image uploads work on FreeFlarum? Or do I need to set this up with an S3 host.

                                      You cannot upload to FreeFlarum server/hosting. I think there is something if you choose AWS ( I am not sure which service ).

                                        trever-s file upload to FreeFlarum directly isn't possible, and you must use Imgur/AWS, as meetdilip suggested. This might change in the future, but no promises

                                              Hi! I got error 500 every times. Can someone help? I can't custom anymore with this error 500. And byobu is not supported anymore for Flarum Ver. 16. Soo yeah i disabled byobu. But i still getting error 500. I reset the settings there a week ago.

                                                wolfshards it was because of an error in FoF Masquerade so I had to remove it along with FoF Byobu (which is not beta.16 yet) temporarily for all forums to not cause further issues, since those are not beta.16 yet. Anyways, your forum should work now
