heyueyuan FYI that extension is incompatible with Flarum 1.0.4, and I'd prefer not to modify the database manually.
I'd like to note that there is already a GitHub issue about Flarum's future UTF-8 support (including search optimizations, which should be looked at in the next release(s), if I remember correctly). What I mean is that you could just wait until it is supported out-of-the-box by Flarum itself.
If this is urgent for you, I'd recommend self-hosting your forum instead - that way, you can do any necessary tweaks in order to make Chinese search better for you (not to mention that we are still probably banned in China, which means that self-hosting is better for you anyways, if you are planning to primarily target Chinese users)
