Hari You guys are really great ♥ , from the last couple of days i am trying to setup flarum in different environments like Plesk and Virtualmin now i can say that if someone wants to start a small flarum it's better to go with freeflarum and point it to their domain/subdomain
educatedheker @Sanguine please help me configure smtp i saw that it works out of the box but it is not working in my case I tried several smtp service they are not approving my request cause i can't prove my ownership as i have no access to the ftp or anything. But now you only help me to configure the server's default smtp so that i need not to panic thanks in advance.
SKevo educatedheker what happens if you send a test mail? Are there any errors logged at https://freeflarum.com/settings/logs? If you are not sure how to read logs, please tell me your forum name and I'll have a look
SKevo educatedheker This is possibly related to https://discuss.flarum.org/d/7585/3357. What encryption are you using? Does sending mail work when you leave the encryption field blank? Also by the way, you have a couple of errors related to Imgur upload too - some extension that uses it is likely misconfigured (e. g.: wrong Imgur API key)
educatedheker SKevo i used anonymous imgur api key which uploads but there are error in log 🙁 i use tls in port 587 with gmail but fails and without encryption also fails
SKevo educatedheker I've checked the latest log message for your forum, the error is the same: Swift_TransportException: Connection could not be established with host smtp-relay.sendinblue.com It seems that there is an extra space before smtp-relay.sendinblue.com - try removing that and then try again

SKevo educatedheker you must use the smtp option for SMTP, mail is used when sending via Linux commands (as far as I know), and so it's not officially supported by FreeFlarum
educatedheker SKevo ok but smtp hosts are not approving as i don't have server access to prove my identity as its owner and mailgun is trail only
SKevo educatedheker I apologize, but I can't help you with this kind of situation. Your SMTP provider doesn't seem to be ideal for hostings such as FreeFlarum that come with limitations like this, but rather for people who self-host (have their own server), so verification can be done more easily in their case. I'd suggest you to look for alternative SMTP services that don't require a verification, or self-host too

SKevo gabrielpipolo we've had a similar issue with one forum recently. It is related to the certificate file somehow. Re-linking custom domain helped, which refreshed the certificate. I don't know if this is just cron acting up or if we're being rate limited by Let's Encrypt which means that some certificates aren't renewed. I'll check logs, but as for your forum, it should work now

SKevo I fixed the certificate issue. I have renewed them for all forums. Apologies for the inconveniences. Please, let us know if anyone is still experiencing issues

Could you check if there's anything logged in the browser console when you click the button or logs at https://freeflarum.com/settings/logs. Alternatively, if you tell me your forum name, I'll look at it for you
