I would also like to let you know that your forum currently consumes at around 700 MB in assets: please, remove unused avatars, files or other extensions' assets and uploads via your admin account to reduce the size. Forum at this scale is heavy for FreeFlarum, and if you want to continue, please also consider to possible self-hosting

SKevo Up2Vex this is not something that we can change. It is related to Flarum or an extension. You will have to report it to the developers. It might be enough to apply some CSS fix, but I don't know what CSS code to use, sorry. What you can do is try and look into your browser's dev-tools for possible errors in console or CSS styles. If you tell me your forum name, I could look into this for you instead, when I have some spare time.

Hi, I am having trouble with using a custom domain for my Freeflarum forum.

I have followed the instructions in the Freeflarum settings and have set the DNS settings of my domain to Type: CNAME, Name: WWW, Data: name.freeflarum.com. , TTL: 1 hour

When I enter my desired domain into Freeflarum settings it says: domain.com does not CNAME to name.freeflarum.com

Does anyone know why this may be happening? Thanks

technoob you must include the www when entering the domain in FreeFlarum's settings (so you enter www.domain.com instead of just domain.com)

Now the domain works if I enter www.domain.com. Do you know how to route to the forum if I enter only domain.com? Do I need to remove the WWW and replace with @ in the DNS settings?

technoob no, adding @ would break it, as FreeFlarum won't recognize it due to root CNAME not being a DNS standard.

Instead, we recommend to create a permanent redirect from @ to www. Your domain provider should allow this (as most of them do)

I've tested email and it's working, and replies to people also sends an email.. but new posts in followed threads don't seem to be sending an email...

With flarum-imgur-upload extension we upload our images to the Imgur hosting. Imgur is a 3-rd part services. We don't have the ability to manage images. One day, access may be revoked or images may be deleted. We don't have influence on that. Therefore we are looking for solution to upload images and files to our personal storage. The extension "FOF Upload" (available in freeflarum) can do that for AWS S3.

Hi and thanks for this great free forum. The email notification system does not appear to be alerting users as it used to. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with having our forum reactivated. I did send and receive the test email via the settings section but when I post and reply to discussions, I'm receiving no alerts. Can you advise on what I can do to reactivate that feature?

Is it possible to hide the choose tag dialog when creating a new topic? I only want mods to apply tags to discussions once they got posted.
