Hi there Free Flarum hosters!
I'm hosting a forum under the URL https://birdcage.freeflarum.com/ with you, but it's suddenly gone inactive recently. I got an E-mail about it and replied, but the forum still seems to be in some kind of inactive state, of sorts. Would I be able to get some help on re-activating it? Thanks!

If you mean that the icons are broken, then try visiting it under https://birdcage.flarum.cloud/, which is your actual forum URL. Now, https://birdcage.freeflarum.com/ works, but it doesn't redirect to flarum.cloud. I assume that's because you have disabled the "Canonical URL" extension - if you enable that, it will properly redirect visitors to your canonical URL (which is https://birdcage.flarum.cloud/)

If I want a custom domain, can I connect my Custom Domain through Google Domains for my FreeFlarum Forum?

BigBlueChips yes that should be possible, as long as you provide the correct CNAME record. Please, see the documentation here: https://docs.freeflarum.com/en/tutorials/custom-domain/

FYI everyone I have updated all FreeFlarum forums to the latest Flarum release (v1.6.3). You might see a popup prompting you to input the database password. All forum databases are currently being migrated, so that prompt will soon disappear... Thank you for your patience & sorry for the downtime!

Hi all,
I tried to login to my forum after a while, forum.asnuaps.it (the original link is https://asnu.flarum.cloud/).
Did it go offline for lack of usage? Is there anything I can do to bring it back, as we are about to start using it again?

vulcano FreeFlarum does not have an .org domain. Is https://forum.freeflarum.com/ what you're looking for?

FYI ansu is "destroyed" and can no longer be reactivated

vulcano your forum name was actually asnuaps, not asnu, so I've reactivated that one instead (see https://forum.asnuaps.it). Is that correct?

I am having trouble with my Namescheap Domain. I want to connect my domain "playbluestar.com" as a subdomain for my Forum to >> "discussions.playbluestar.com" but they're telling me there is a SSL issue with FreeFlarum service provider. This is my forum: https://bluestargames.freeflarum.com

BigBlueChips you haven't updated the subdomain in FreeFlarum settings (https://freeflarum.com/settings/forum_settings). I've completed that step for you, so your forum should now be available at https://discussions.playbluestar.com (if it doesn't work for you, please check it in another browser as most of them cache DNS settings)

FreeFlarum's user limit is currently not enforced, but we reserve the right to cancel forums that are too big, e. g.: to the point that they endanger the stability of other FreeFlarum forums. In other words, you can have more users than the documentation states, if it doesn't affect other forums' performance. Please, see our Terms & Conditions for more information.

Donations only increase the amount of MBs you can store via FoF Upload attachments, among other perks. They do not allocate more resources to your forum or increase the (albeit rather arbitrary) user limit.

FoF Upload should have a (similar, if not identical) functionality, but I am not 100 % sure, sorry...

Hi SKevo is there some issue with user notifications within forums on freeflarum? Since the new look of notifs bell sometimes we are notified without having actual notifications or we receive those with a delay.
