The issue should now be finally fixed. There was a bug in the forum name validation, which meant that forum names could be signed up with a space in them. This screwed up the synchronization script, that created the forum folder in every other forum's folder. Next forum with space duplicated it, and so on... so the disk space was quickly exhausted. It appears that someone had abused this instead of reporting it. I have fixed the logic now, and it seems to work properly this time.
I apologize for the inconvenience - all invalid forum names have now been purged. It might take a while before all forums are synchronized again, but after that, they should be back to normal again. Thank you for being patient!
arghasen I signed up for a forum today. Haven't yet got email for setting up admin.
Please, e-mail me at info@freeflarum.com with the exact forum name that you have used during signup, and I will re-send the e-mail.
Jason-FaWoWa @SKevo Is there some resource separation technique, like containers, in use?
luceos from what I heard it's one physical machine that runs a multi tenant Flarum install.
Yes, this is correct - FreeFlarum is currently hosted on a single Linux machine
whisperwow OK now the admin page loads with the following message:
Something went wrong while trying to load the full version of this site. Try hard-refreshing this page to fix the error.
Could you please check if the admin page is working now?
CaWrong I suggest adding a "reply to see" plugin, already committed to GitHub. However, it has not accumulated 5 likes so far. I think this is a common feature in forums, like many forums.
This extension was already included at FreeFlarum before - in the case of extension revivals, the 5 upvotes policy is bypassed in most cases. I will look into including it later today, thanks
