TeamF I have tried to copy and paste an image to the post composer at your forum, and it seems that it has worked without any issues (the image was correctly uploaded as a FoF Upload BBCode and inserted in the post). Are you able to consistently reproduce this issue? (cc tom23)

Trc4 what is your forum URL please? Is most of your userbase accessing the forum outside of Europe (which would explain why the forum is slow?) Was it slow before the latest migration?

Now it works fine! Did you change anything? Thank you :-)

Trc4 This error occurs when submitting. However, the post is there when you refresh.

We had the same Problem today. I fixed up and now it works again.

TeamF no I didn't, that's why I found it strange why it worked all of sudden :D Perhaps it was because of a bug in some extension? I updated all of them (also included a few new ones from GitHub right now), so maybe that fixed the issue

      Hi @SKevo
      Good morning bro.
I got an incident since this morning, the forum bongcau.com is no longer accessible

This page isn’t working right nowbongcau.com can't currently handle this request.
      HTTP ERROR 500

Thanks for your attention bro !!

        Hi @SKevo

We discovered another bug. Unfortunately, we have not yet been able to identify a system behind it. The whole thing has nothing to do with Freeflarum. Still wanted to share it.

We have activated the emoji extension.

The likes are also displayed in the timeline. However, if you want to check who voted, not all members are listed.

Here is my example (Post 71)

wish you a nice weekend 🤩

tom23 I haven't been able to add images to posts for a few days now. Uploading works, but copy pasting doesn't.

SKevo I am pretty sure that I missed some PHP module related to image encoding, but to verify that I need to check your forum logs, and to do that, I need to know the forum URL that is affected)

        The error reoccurs again today

        Hi there,

My forum has been down for a while - it's showing an error message when I try to open the page:

This site can’t provide a secure connection
        www.permanentdecadick.com uses an unsupported protocol.
        ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

Could I get some help with this please?
        Thanks

The reactions are not working anymore. At least, it only shows part of it.

            SKevo

            Hello, I've done this part:

"go to your FreeFlarum settings, "Link custom domain" section and replace your current domain withcinstudtest.freeflarum.com. This "resets" (emphasis on quotes) your custom domain back to your FreeFlarum hostname, as it was when you first registered the forum."

At first I was able to see my forum again after going to CNAME.freeflarum.com but now even that is not working. It says the site can't provide a secure connection. I've also tried pressing "Fixup my forum".

Do you know what could be going on here?

            Thanks

technoob when I check your DNS records, the following information shows up:

              www.permanentdecadick.com. 600	IN	CNAME	pdd.freeflarum.com.

              However, it should be:

              www.permanentdecadick.com. 600	IN	CNAME	cname.freeflarum.com.

technoob At first I was able to see my forum again after going to CNAME.freeflarum.com but now even that is not working.

Do you mean that you went to https://cname.freeflarum.com, or that you pointed your domain to cname.freeflarum.com? You should do the latter, then update your custom domain in the settings (currently, your forum lies at https://pdd.freeflarum.com, so you have successfully reset it - now, all there is left to do is to update the CNAME record and set your custom domain again at https://freeflarum.com/settings/forum_settings)

Steve33 do you mean that not the entire list of users who have reacted is shown? I remember that another user had a similar issue, however I haven't been able to find the exact root cause. I can look into this if you share your forum URL with me (either via this thread or info@freeflarum.com)

Steve33 The reactions are not working anymore. At least, it only shows part of it.

We have the same problem and don't know what's causing it. There is also no logical system behind when it works and when it doesn't.

Mahdir211 sorry, you can't. FreeFlarum only supports migrating from FreeFlarum, not to FreeFlarum

Is there a way to get notified of major changes/announcements to FreeFlarum? Right now this seems to be the only thread, but there's a lot of unrelated posts of people asking for help which make it easy to accidentally miss something.

marsnebulasoup right now this is the only thread, but I understand what you mean.

I had an idea to simply create an official FreeFlarum forum, purely just for info and support. Back then, things weren't as noisy and it wasn't required, but it seems that this is something I should consider again now
