amanwaa No! That host only allows you to use up to PHP7.0.1. For newest version you need 7.1+. On another note, this thread probably isn't the place to start conversation about other hosts.

@Sanguine Awesome project/service you have there! It is really easy to setup your own forum within seconds.
I am curious, how do you plan to add ads when the css can be easily overwritten by the Flarum settings. Maybe disabling that option for free forums or would that have too much impact?

Anyways, some kind of robot validation for new users would be nice. Here is an extension for googles recaptcha: https://discuss.flarum.org/d/18399-friendsofflarum-recaptcha could you add that? Also I would strongly recommend you to implement some sort of captcha for the forum creation + email verification. It hurts to say but it is too easy to create a forum with fleeflarum which could be a paradies for spammers and bots.

Hello! I am having a problem with the forum I set up. Admins can post/start discussions but normal members cannot. They keep getting a general error when they try to post or reply to something that is there! Help!

Sanguine Hi there! I found the answer on this forum late last night. It seems that some of the extensions were acting up. I think it was one of the language ones I activated. I deactivated them all and am slowly activating them again. If I figure out which one it was I'll update.

I was experimenting with Cookie Banner and I guess by adding <script>JS code...</script> (was being lazy and didn't want to call the asset remotely.)

I caused problems with VM197 injected_script.js Which I am presuming is a script to prevent what I was doing.

WebSocket connection to 'wss://127.0.0.1:2024/?version=1_1' failed: Error in connection establishment: net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

Apologies for the inconvenience and will avoid include script in the custom header field.

Incident report: *.freeflarum.com gave an SSL error today due to a non-renewed SSL certificate. The renew procedure for Letsencrypt broke unfortunately. The issue has been resolved and I am looking into better testing to prevent a repeat.

ihx Sanguine maybe he means removing a user from Flarum ? You need to go to the user profile via a link or by typing the /u/<username> url and delete it from there.
