NickThacker OK, it turns out it was the email server settings. I have an SES account, but when I use those credentials I get the error... so I reset it to just "mail" (built-in, I'm assuming), and it works fine.

All FreeFlarum forums are being upgraded to beta10, the most active first. It is expected that the upgrade will have completed for all forums in 3-4 hours. Let us know if you see anything out of the ordinary.

Problems? First try re-enabling your extensions.

Thank you for this amazing service! It's helping me help my HOA. Unfortunately our freeFlarum forum is now hit with a 504 Bad Gateway Timeout with the code, "nginx." The site was working after the update, went down earlier today. Could it be related with the update? We're located at www.avcommunity.org

benrobson8 SKevo ondrejj joeschnurr Githubandme zakaware Problem has resolved. It appears that a single PHP-FPM process can hang and lock the master FPM process. It's a fairly hard problem to debug unfortunately. Perhaps I could add monitoring that would kill FPM processes older than 60s.

I just tried creating a forum and I'm getting the same error no extensions added. Do the forums spin up docker containers with ngix? Perhaps the latest version of the software is pulling a bad version?

I can confirm that my forum won't load too. It times out, however it worked fine yesterday :/

PSA: new terms & conditions

FreeFlarum.com has updated its terms. Article 9 was added, which states:

This service is not available to persons or legal entities who operate legal constructs for the purpose of tax evasion or concealment of the ultimate benefactor, such to be determined by FreeFlarum.com at its sole discretion.

While running a shell company may be legal in your jurisdiction, personally I find it highly unethical and I have no desire to contribute my spare time to these causes.

Hello. When I try to add a custom domain, via the settings panel, I get the Error: “Oops! Something went wrong we are looking into it.”. Is this a Issue on my side or is something wrong with FreeFlarum?

SKevo I created a CNAME Record, as stated on the page. I didn’t change or do anything else.
