Sanguine My forum won't work, it keeps saying that an error occurred while loading this page every time i log in. This only happens when i log in. When im logged out, everything is normal

That is usually due to an error in your mail settings, or a bug in one the extensions you have enabled. If you tell me your forum name, I will reset the settings for you

It seems there's a bug in the Arabic language extension, ziymed-lang-ar. You can't login because you have set your language to Arabic. You should probably ask the other Admin to remove the Arabic language, and ask the author of the Arabic language for a fix.

Update: I have removed the Arabic language extension ziymed/lang-ar for all FreeFlarum forums, pending a fix/update by the author.

~~A user on my forum is complaining that they are ip banned from the site, can I confirm that you have mot blocked any IPs lately or anything? Their ip address starts with 73.43~~
Seems to somehow fixed automatically.

panzerbay I have tried it with my second forum, however I can't get it working. It says that it doesn't CNANE to x, even though it does. However, I am using Gandi with my main forum and it works just perfectly. My setup could either be wrong or Freenom is just not compatible with FreeFlarum at the moment.

Freenom is a tricky site and I personally don't really trust them with their services, as other people I know had problems with them earlier. I would rather recommend buying you some cheap domain, if you are able to do so. If not, you can find another free domain hosting or just keep the FreeFlarum subdomain.

the-poor-gamer-124 At the moment we do not support Wordpress login, if you have a specific extension compatible with FreeFlarum that does this, go ahead and submit an extension request.

That most likely means that the Turkish language pack is not currently compatible with Flarum. It has been updated to beta.10 a while ago and not all extensions are updated right away - they are provided by the community at the moment.

If you bricked the access to your forum, please wait for @Sanguine - he'll reset your forum's extensions to help you with your issue. If you got any other questions, go on and I'll try to answer you.

Hi all, I'm trying to configure my forum so users have the option to receive notifications on every new discussion/post. People are asking for it, because our activity is too low for people to login and check/subscribe to new discussions. Is there a custom extension or something I can use so people can get emails for everything, like a traditional listserv? Thank you!

Unfortunately, this is not possible because FreeFlarum uses a mail hosting (which is obviously paid and limited). A similar issue was here, at Discuss with the follow tags extension. The mail traffic was just too big and the hosting just wouldn't handle it. Now imagine what would happen if some FreeFlarum forums out of high amount of them would enable such extension - mails would collapse entirely, people wouldn't receive registration confirmation emails (like they did there) and more problems would follow.

Maybe this will be possible once FF gets a bigger mail quota, but for now it is certainly not possible.

Allow me to clarify we ran into a sending limitation while follow tags was enabled, but also after it was disabled. We have already moved away from this service and all subscription and registration mails should be delivered, including those sent by follow tags.

Having said that, keeping an eye on and understanding your email provider limitations is a very smart thing to do. You can always configure something like sendgrid, mailgun and the likes.

Yes, you can do that as long as the domain provider is CNAME compatible (settings for this are in the settings)

You can either take a look at the Flarum extension docs and build it by your own or you just wait for the extension to update. Most extensions are created and updated by the community, not by FreeFlarum and not by Flarum either. You can contact the extension author and reason with him, but sadly we can't help you with any issue with third-party extensions. If you want, you can fork/clone the Flarum English extension and translate it by yourself, if you need it for your community.
