HAIM How do I turn it into Hebrew?

Did you try installing the language pack ? I think there is one available through the Dashboard.

  • HAIM replied to this.

HAIM if you are interested to translate flarum into hebrew, we can setup an easy interface for you on weblate.
This can help you and the community 🙂

HAIM I then assume that we have no Hebrew extension available yet. Please, request one at https://github.com/gwillem/freeflarum.com/issues, if any is available right now.

If there is no Hebrew language pack compatible with the latest Flarum at the moment, you can consider Justoverclock's suggestion and maintain translations by yourself. I am sure that this will be beneficial to other Hebrew speaking Flarum communities as well.

      Hi all!
First of all, I love freeflarum! It's so easy to work with and so much fun to set up, even for someone like me, who doens't have any knowledge about programming and such.

So here's one little thing I need help with, if someone can. I've posted it on the Dutch flarum, but I think I can get the right help right here.

I've started my own forum just a couple of days ago and I've got a domain at hostnet.nl.
Very exited to start, but I ran into a issue with the directing or redirecting?

If you use: https://www.equinemarkt.nl you'll go to the right site, also if you use www.equinemarkt.nl and http://www.equinemarkt.nl, but if you typ in equinemarkt.nl you'll can't use the site.

And unfortunate for me, that's the link google is using, so new people can't register to my forum.

So... help please? 🙈 (I've contacted my hosting but they said I should ask for help here..)

Oh I've anybody needs help with the translation from English to Dutch, I'm available !

      Edit: It's solved!

ChipsyKing the limit is set in PHP-FPM itself, and would require it to be raised system-wide (for all forums). There is a default of 2 MB, which I've raised to 20 MB, and that should be enough for all forums. Let me know if that works

meetdilip Of course! It was really simple 😅 At my hosting site I had the choice to framefoward my site or 301 - redirect. I choose the wrong one apparently, I thought framefoward was the one I needed, but that gave the problems that I had. So when I switched to 301- redirect, it worked!

So nothing really big, but something I didn't knew but won't forget anymore.

SKevo It's okay. Thank you very much for the work you do.

Looks like mine is back! Thanks for the fix 👍

I can't login to my forum which is hosted by FreeFlarum.com. Is there any way for me to login? Thank you!

rh9 why can't you login? Have you checked the logs? Is there any error? What does it say? But most importantly, what is even your forum name?

We can't help you without this information.

              • rh9 replied to this.

SKevo I'm not sure. The console shows this.
                 GET https://axf.flarum.cloud/null 404
                (anonymous) @ assets/forum.js?v=0be9d508:681
                forEach.t.<computed> @ assets/forum.js?v=0be9d508:1
                a @ assets/forum.js?v=0be9d508:25
                (anonymous) @ assets/forum.js?v=0be9d508:25
                a @ assets/forum.js?v=0be9d508:25
                e.show @ assets/forum.js?v=0be9d508:1
                onclick @ assets/forum.js?v=0be9d508:52
                $.handleEvent @ assets/forum.js?v=0be9d508:25

rh9 I remember that this was related to the SSO extension for some reason. It modifies the login route, and instead redirects to null when clicking on login.

I believe that this wasn't reported yet. Perhaps someone should do it in that extension's discussion.

But first, please try to disable the SSO extension and see if it works afterwards

                  • rh9 replied to this.

I previously had a ff forum, discontinued it.
the old one no longer works(HTTP 404), and we would like to start fresh.

So we created a new acc, and when we were tryna add our domain, we get this error.

Name is already used for another forum, remove that one first.

I don't really wish to reveal my domain names here, can I PM you?

soundarrr tell me your old forum name and I'll remove it for you, then it should work

soundarrr all remaining domain configuration related to that forum should be removed. Please, try to link your domain again now. If it doesn't work, PM me here or E-mail us at info@freeflarum.com

It turns out that all FreeFlarum forums have been automatically updated to 1.1.0. We've originally wanted to update during next weekend, but it seems that when all extensions were updated (by composer update), it also updated Flarum to the new version.

I've removed automatic extension updating because of this. Luckily, it wasn't a big update and everything behaves as it should. But, if your forum experiences any issues, please let us know and we'll look into it. AFAIK, one forum had issues with FoF Best Answer, which I've told them to report (since the error was generic, and they know more about their forum setup than we do). I assume that it is a minor issue and that this extension will shortly update to 1.1.0, so I won't remove it

Edit: Also fixed navigation not visible for desktop or mobile on https://freeflarum.com

If you want to guarantee that you are in control of these versions, you can use a strict version constraint. For instance, what I do for clients, is to set the constraint to v1.1.* for flarum/core that way you are safe to run composer update to pull in patches. But all minor (or major) releases demand a change in the composer constraint in order to allow such an upgrade.

Hello, I have a problem with my forum forumehc.flarum.cloud. When members are not logged in, they cannot see the answers to the discussions even though the permission allows it in the dashboard. Here is a screenshot
                          Screenshot

gartaguel that's probably related to an extension that you are using. Try to disable some and see if it changes anything. You can also check the console for potential errors

SKevo I don't think that I can log in to do that.

rh9 My bad, I thought that you were already logged in. I've disabled it for you, and the login form should open properly now.

                                Does it support Chinese search?
