Recently, it has come to my attention that many Chinese people aren't able to donate to FreeFlarum due to certain restrictions.
I am happy to announce that, thanks to a huge help from @essesoul, we were able to set up a second donation option for our friends from China. You can now see a note about this donation method at the bottom of the red warning box at the donation page: https://freeflarum.com/donate. Or, you can also visit https://afdian.net/a/freeflarum directly. You can donate via Alipay, Wechat Pay or PayPal.
The principle is similar to our standard Ko-fi donations: go to the Afdian donation page, fill in your forum tag (the forum tag is visible at https://freeflarum.com/settings/overview when you are logged in).
Note that donations are valid for life-time (the service expects monthly donations by default, but these aren't required). You can see the value in euros for each plan - that's the amount that will be noted in the FreeFlarum database automatically.
