No, but we have forums with higher amount of users operating just fine (around 1k posts). I should word it in the ToS more accordingly.

I'd like to note that FreeFlarum's goal is to help other build a starting point for their communities. If you want a big & busy forum, you should consider self-hosting instead as I think that will work better for you.

we haven't really made any significant updates recently. That's also because we were busy dealing with some ideas, namely the new 2021 FreeFlarum re-code.

gabrielpipolo it should be possible, although I never tried it myself. What are those steps exactly that can't be done on FreeFlarum?

ManuTheCoder there's a soft limit of approx. 250 users/forum, but we have bigger forums that work alright. We'll let you know if we spot any high traffic issues at your forum.

As for the site, it works alright for me. Never happened to me, and shouldn't happen at all, as that is a FTP server (and can mean a security vulnerability). Does it still happen? What browser are you using?

ManuTheCoder are you accessing the forum under a different URL or port? Are there any console errors? What browser are you using and what extensions do you have installed? But most importantly, can you access any files at the server?

If this happens at FreeFlarum, it could be a vulnerability that has to be fixed. Do you have Discord or Telegram so we could discuss this privately?

ManuTheCoder this seems like a browser cache issue to me. Try accessing the page from Incognito mode or another browser (no cookies or cached connections).

What I believe happens here is that your browser had cached the previous domain connection, not being mapped to your FreeFlarum forum. Or something along those lines

ManuTheCoder yes, most likely cache happens. Please, verify your browser setup or clear cache as that is an issue on your side

ManuTheCoder if it works everywhere else except for your browser, then I'd look at the browser first. This won't be DNS, just your browser
