Hi everyone!

Anyone knows if currently it's possible to use the S3 option with the FoF Upload on the FreeFlarum foruns?

I've tried but there is some configuration steps on the GitHub that's not possible to do on the freeflarum I guess..

gabrielpipolo it should be possible, although I never tried it myself. What are those steps exactly that can't be done on FreeFlarum?

Hi! I really like this forum software! It is VERY easy to set up!!!
Is there a bandwidth limit, or a user limit, or any limit?
Now, I was trying to do a custom domain, and for some reason it isn't working. It worked for an hour, and an hour later, it says this:

Could anyone check and see if this works on your side?

    Thanks!!!

ManuTheCoder there's a soft limit of approx. 250 users/forum, but we have bigger forums that work alright. We'll let you know if we spot any high traffic issues at your forum.

As for the site, it works alright for me. Never happened to me, and shouldn't happen at all, as that is a FTP server (and can mean a security vulnerability). Does it still happen? What browser are you using?

        Thank you!

Phew, good to know, but it's not working on my side for some reason...

        What browser are you using?

        I am using chrome

ManuTheCoder are you accessing the forum under a different URL or port? Are there any console errors? What browser are you using and what extensions do you have installed? But most importantly, can you access any files at the server?

If this happens at FreeFlarum, it could be a vulnerability that has to be fixed. Do you have Discord or Telegram so we could discuss this privately?

ManuTheCoder oh, for all your. I got scared that it happens for FreeFlarum, but now I assume that you're using your own server for the domain of some kind?

ManuTheCoder this seems like a browser cache issue to me. Try accessing the page from Incognito mode or another browser (no cookies or cached connections).

What I believe happens here is that your browser had cached the previous domain connection, not being mapped to your FreeFlarum forum. Or something along those lines

I'll check the logs just in case

Yay, its starting to work on my phone 😃

IDK what's happening in my browser tho 🙁

ManuTheCoder yes, most likely cache happens. Please, verify your browser setup or clear cache as that is an issue on your side

                Yes, I will check it.
Is it because of DNS propagation by any chance?

ManuTheCoder if it works everywhere else except for your browser, then I'd look at the browser first. This won't be DNS, just your browser

                    Hi,
I am new to Free Flarum.
And, have started exploring the platform. Downloading flarum and using the raw software is much difficult for me and hence i am blessed to have FreeFlarum.

I have lots of questions and reports:
Will be posting them here and i hope for a good resonse.

                    My first Report:
There is a problem, when i am creating means posting discussion or replying to anything(as a trial) everything has gone blank. Nothing is being shown but when i click on edit button i get to see the whole content of my post. What is this?

lakshya what is your FreeFlarum forum name? Does any error message appear? Might be some small bug, perhaps with cache or an extension.

lakshya Your custom CSS is set to p { display: none !important; }, please remove that code from your admin panel under "Appearance" > "Custom CSS", because it hides the paragraph in the post body.
