Wordpress and Flarum on same droplet (Ubuntu 14.04)

Greetings! I was wondering if there are any guides or videos that can pinpoint me in the right direction for having Wordpress and Flarum working on the same droplet. I had them both working a long time ago, but I had to uninstall Flarum a year ago. Since I've been reading about the new updates and new features, I have decided to reincorporate it into my droplet, but it seems there's a problem during the installation (the main website won't load or it stays forever loading.)

I had to create two droplets (one for Wordpress and one for Discourse) but it's getting a bit expensive, hence the need to have them running under the same droplet.

Just configure an additional VirtualHost to direct a hostname to a separate directly (that's the name with Apache, not sure how it's called with Nginx)

In my experience, the easier choice to maintain that setup is keep wordpress in one domain and flarum in a separate domain. Personaly i use domain.com for WordPress and subdomain forum.domain.com to Flarum.

As @clarkwinkelmann said, you need to setup two virtualhosts on same Droplet.

I tried accessing the new flarum site, but this is what I'm getting. Not getting Error 500 anymore, though!

Moonshadows you misconfigured the proxy from nginx to php. A location block with ~\.php is required to forward the request to php-fpm.

Why did I assume nginx ?

Apache should be able to process php files without issue, but you need to have php installed.

I have had WP and Flarum on the same droplet (albeit via Cloudways) without problems
