datitisev I was thinking in a channel with less noise, which is essential for security updates to reach fast and not be missed by sysadmins. E-mail list is probably the best option, people can subscribe or unsubscribe at will, e-mails could even be autogenerated and there are many free options.

Johann I've voiced the same the day Clark reported the issue. We'll most likely have such a solution before or soon after releasing the stable version.

Johann You cannot subscribe to tags yet but you can subscribe to single discussions.

If you want to do that, click the 'Follow' button with the star icon just under the orange 'Reply' button. Then go to your settings and make sure you have ticked when 'Someone posts in a discussion I'm following' under the email column. You will now receive email notifications.

Soon you will also be able to follow us on Facebook where news and updates will be posted as well. ? That may be an alternative in the interim perhaps?

Prosperous I know how subscriptions works but I fail to see the relation between a) following a topic (which by the way does not even exist yet) or Facebook page and b) receiving release announcements (some of which may be high priority security fixes) with the less possible noise (i.e.: post from other users saying "Yeehaw!", marketing posts on a Facebook page, etc.). Thanks for your advise, anyway.

Facebook and Twitter are your next best things as they're live updates; whenever Flarum is updated then an announcement is posted on those mediums too. ?

Differ You can definitely use this version but avoid using it in production if you intend to modify it extensively. If you use Flarum out of the box with little to no extensions or modifications then updating to newer versions will run much more smoothly. ?

In saying that though the community here are available 24/7 to assist with any issues you do encounter if they surface.

hello Here is a Flarumites from mainland China, and there are many people in China who are fond of Flarum lightweight and beautiful and friendly pages. But the official didn't release Chinese version Flarum, but under some fans have to translation, which requires a lot of time and may be many unknown vulnerabilities in the process of translation. So I hope the official will be able to launch the Chinese version.
I saw Flarum localization project on transifex in the previous period, and I applied to participate in this project with the idea of egoism, but I still haven't passed it. If Toby can see it, go through it. I would like to contribute my part to the promotion of Flarun, and let more Chinese Flarum lovers build Flarum better and faster.

yiveco there are a lot of hands that go into making Flarum great. But the simple fact is that we can't cover every conceivable case for Flarum, be it language or feature or environment. That's why we rely on our community to help us make Flarum an awesome product to use. I realize this sometimes means trusting a third party to provide an important part of your site experience, but my advice to you is to try the Chinese translations available (u believe there are two listed here) and offer help to improve them if they are not adequate.
