megamorf If Flarum had a user-friendly reply editor I'd be using it for a community project already. But eventhough I don't use Flarum due to its incomplete state I joined the developers' patreon project to speed up the process. I know from experience that a spare-time project can take up quite a lot of time without making much progress but I'm looking forward to a stable release in the foreseeable future.
VeridisQuo Quick question, is there possibility to theme flarum with beta 8.0 ? I am still holding off from using flarum because I'm waiting for a stable release, but phpbb is frustrating me because it is so bloated. It is however the forum software I know best how to use.
Prosperous VeridisQuo You won't find the transition to Flarum too difficult in all honesty. And provided you keep your instance as stock as possible, then upgrading to newer versions will be as smooth as possible. It is how I am running my forum anyway and thus far knock on wood I have not encountered any issues. ?
luceos idrissmatos Will the beta 8.x release support MariaDB 10.2.x Most likely not (for now). If we can, we will. matotubol is there any reason you dont want to use angularJS? From what I read from @Toby in the past he carefully compared js frameworks and went with one that suited his needs and is very slim. Please note AngularJS is outdated, it's now called Angular ?
idrissmatos luceos what about MariaDB 10.1 does it work fine i can downgrade on my server will it work
Blueh any chance to add delete own account and change own nickname (from profile settings) in next beta? ?
jordanjay29 Just a reminder, this is not a feature request topic. Please make new discussions where appropriate.
d Tears of joy roll down my ferengi cheeks as I install this fix for a security vulnerability. Note: Added "fix for a." ?
Prosperous Laser Technically none at the moment, but there are ways of getting an instance of Flarum up and running without SSH access. Do a quick search of this forum to find your answers. ?
