Prosperous Kryonoglou There isn't one, and one cannot be estimated unfortunately. That is the honest truth. Best way is to track the milestones to see what the developers are up to pretty much.
OrdinaryJellyfish just-do-it I agree, that would probably help Flarum a bit. The problem is where to place them and make then unobtrusive. Traditional ad networks like AdSense are also ignored greatly. For Flarum, I'd recommend something like Carbon Ads placed somewhere in the documentation (and maybe here). A good placement would be on the right side of the content or under a sidebar.
luceos OrdinaryJellyfish ads and carbon sadly aren't that profitable. My other foss project does around 1k visits a day earning up to a dollar a month with carbon. Note ads are only visible opt in and on the docs.
