Neilfei I doubt that Luceos would support a manually installed version, so if anything goes wrong, you'd probably be on your own. That said, there are some resources in the DEV tag for manually installing extensions for testing purposes.
However, the better method would be to figure out if your host can provide the proper PHP version and use that instead.
