Questions aobut Digital Ocean Droplet

So from what I understand is that a Digital Ocean Droplet is a virtual private server. If I am wrong about that please correct me. My question has to do with, if I create a droplet and am paying whatever the monthly cost is for that droplet, am I able to create more than once website. So say I have example1.com and I want to have an example2.com on the same droplet, is that possible? Or do you have to have a separate droplet? So I guess the example2.com would be an addon domain.

Sorry if this question is confusing. I don't mean it to be. Thanks for the help.

ChadJessen you are correct, you can configure a server to handle multiple sites. Search for “name based virtual hosts”. Perhaps the digital ocean forums are a good starting point?
