With the new rules in place I couldn't help notice that there wasn't a report button. No matter how dedicated your staff is. I find often it is your own members who will notice things and do a good job reporting matters that need addressing. 🙂

I'm checking on this, but I believe you should be seeing a Report command in the three dots button over other members' posts. If you don't see that, try refreshing your browser please.

Kulga I wonder if a @Moderator_name would serve that purpose?

We would prefer that members don't use mentions to report posts, because it could amount to public handling of a situation that is best handled privately. Also the mentions themselves would become a lot of off-topic clutter.😉

Kulga I imagine it would not. People tagging you isn't the idea way to report something. Especially when you have a very large and busy site. 1,000 people tagging you is not going to get your attention when something is important and needs your attention immediately.

GOD I am looking also for a report button than i cannot see. Use @ and moderator name can be a good idea but i learned only in this topic, never thanked about that. I think a report button for post will be very great!

Dominion Ah. I hadn't noticed this before.. It's not in my install so I imagine this is a new feature.

Kulga Just added here in the past couple days, so I presume it'll be in the next beta release.

But don't quote me on that, just in case. 😉

There is a report button, it's called flag. click on the 3 dots on the bottom-right of your post and you should see an option saying flag
