Tried all methods and fixes of installing flarum, and it still fails

So I made an earlier post about this, but I wanna tell you what I've tried so far.

Fixing Permissions
Fixing Apache2 Extensions
Reinstalling it 9 times
Using the newish installation script a flarum dev recommended
Doing a step-by-step tutorial someone posted eariler on Flarum
Updating it with composer
Checked the Apache2 configuration
Checked if Php7.0 was working

Everything is fine, but I still get an error after I do the installation. It says, "Something went wrong. Please try again" and it only shows the flarum header of my website.

I am running...

Ubuntu Server 16.04 LTS
Latest version of Apache2
php7.0
Latest version of Mysql

UPDATE: Fixed the error turning on debug, but now it says resource is not found for login, refresh, and everything.

On first sight I see nothing that could cause this issue. Let's stick to this discussion.

luceos Alright, well, I'm very confused. I've even tried it on multiple VPS's and Machines. For Ubuntu, Flarum is totally incompatible. If not, somethings very wrong.

I am running Ubuntu Server 16.04 through a vps and flarum runs great. This is on my laptop not through a hosting company. I am using virtualbox for the vps software. Unless, I am misunderstanding what you are saying here.

@luceos This is fixed permanently turning on Debug mode in the Config.php, but this should be fixed as soon as possible.

UPDATE: Now it says for everything, resource not found.

Can you access the admin or the api route ? Are you sure url rewriting is enabled ?

You're running MySQL, not MariaDB ? Just making sure as I've seen issues with the latest MariaDB. Maybe it would be better to say the version instead of "latest", because depending how you installed those the latest version available won't be the same ?

clarkwinkelmann So I found out everything.

You need to enable, then disable debug mode.
Change the URL in the config.php
Enable mod_rewrite in your apache2 block

I did those 3 things, and everything worked flawlessly.

milipili is that during installation? If so try using the console command install ;

php flarum install

The same with MySQL. Anyway to install flarum currently?
