Green circle to display user is online

It's little confusing when I see whether the user is online or not and when I see white circle along with "online" label first thought comes to my mind is user is offline now. But, when I check other user at that time I saw "23 minutes ago" label at that time I realized previous user which I saw was online at that moment.

What confused me that "White circle".

How about green circle along with "Online" label?

Ah, you mean on the profile page/popup? That's a good suggestion.

There are already plans to add a green circle next to the username in posts. Your idea would fit well with that.
