I am following the tutorial at http://flarum.org/docs/extend/start/, but I am getting an error once I have added the event handler to my bootstrap:

I have updated the extension (see git repo posted above), and now I am getting the following error:

I have set up my extension development repo in a folder called workbench, like luceos suggested to in the post here. I appreciate any advice given!

Any suggestions @luceos @Franz @Toby I am wondering if there is possibly an issue in the documentation.....

In my first post, the contents of bootstrap.php were copied directly out of the tutorial, and it still gave me that error. I did update acme/hello-world to zaptech/hello-world so it matched my namespace, and it still gave me an error...

Yes, the documentation is outdated. You do not need to mention specific people to get your issue looked at, especially when you've only posted it 6 hours ago. Please allow at least 72 hours before bumping your topic for attention.

You can browse some information here about creating extensions. The best place to start is also to look at current extensions and mimic their code, it's how most people get started.

jordanjay29 K, thanks! Sorry for mentioning so many people, just wondering if the docs should get updated sometime soon.... is this planned when they get transferred over to the new repo?

Alright! I have completely redone the extension, and I tried adding an extension.less file, but it appears it is not reading it correctly. The git repo link can be found above.
