Arabic Extension is here with RTL Support

I'm happy to release first version of Arabic extension with RTL support.
it can be reused if your language RTl script.

Arabic for beta 5 is here

First install RTL extension

composer require flarumarabia/flarum-ext-rtl *@dev

Then Just run this command to get Arabic translation for beta 5,
this will install RTL extension with Arabic extension.

composer require flarumarabia/flarum-ext-arabic *@dev

Arabic for beta 3 and beta 4 is here !

First i will leave beta2 repository as it is for who is using it.
If you need updated extension with Full RTL support (Forum interface)
Please download it From Here
And follow same instructions.

@dungpx if you installed another language extension this drop-down will be visible by default.

Make sure your extension enabled properly , meanwhile you can share with me your Vietnamese language git repository to test it at my end if you wish.

If your installation for language extension goes well ,then you should see some thing like what in this Pic.

Oh yes, i just update config on database. So now i enable extendsion. I have error:

1. Are The RTL part and Translation strings (Arabic part) mixtured as one extention?
2. Does it include an Hijri calandar, too?

@dorea you can reuse RTL part if you needed it.
You can figure it out and if you need help please till me.

Would be there many demands aroun RTL part. May you develope it separately as a new extention? Then, we can you use it for other RTL languages without dealing with Arabic part. thanks.

samymassoud Given how extensions and language packs work in Flarum, it would probably be best if you released them as two separate packages rather than as a combined package. Among other things, that would allow you to maintain and update them separately.

I think it should even be possible to specify your RTL extension as a prerequisite for your Arabic language pack, so that whenever someone tries to install the language pack, Composer will make sure the RTL extension is there too. @Toby or @luceos would know better than me whether that's possible, and how to go about setting it up.

To add another package as dependancy, add to composer.json under require (if not there already):


    "require": {
        "massoud/rtl": "*"
    },

General advice; change your vendor name (flarum/arabic), using flarum as vendor gives users the impression you are part of the flarum core team.

sorry for spamming guys, @aminasoode I was working on this here
but I'm a little busy right now, also there's not a good way to make Flarum RTL right now which can be fixed by this
I'll translate Flarum when I have more time to spare, please let me know if you can help
