Excellent work done by all have some tea and cake.
Can not wait to update my site to the new version I will also have a go at updating my little phpbb import script with some improvements and to see if it will work on this new version
Flarum v0.1.0-beta.3 released
That is probably the most complicated update tutorial I have ever seen Beta testing is so much fun
Nice job guys.. Its time to get my hands dirty...
I really love that the beta 3 has been released tho with that being said I'm kinda disappointed that it is now MORE Composer dependent... Kinda a real turn off for me... Good luck with the future of Flarum hoping to see newer things in the future!
Awesome!

Just to be clear: There is no download link for beta 3. You cannot install it by uploading a ZIP over FTP. You need to type commands into an SSH terminal in order to install it.
We understand this direction is disappointing and confusing for some people, and we hear you! We've addressed this in the announcement:
Rest assured that we are planning to address this in the future and make sure that Flarum is accessible to everyone.
Ultimately it's all about striking a balance between using technologies like Composer that enable us to make Flarum better, while still making sure it's simple and easy to install.

why my posts hidden?

creat015 Since Flarum lacks private messaging at the moment, I'll leave this one and respond to it here. Your posts are being hidden because they are not constructive – you are posting questions and remarks that have already been addressed very Toby.
We know that this installation process is too difficult for some, not possible on all types of hosting, etc. and in that regard, yes, this is a step back from beta 2. But as I said, we are planning to address this in the future and make sure that Flarum is accessible to everyone. Please just be patient.
@Toby Do you have plans how users would handle conflicts in composer.json?
Imagine this: composer.json is not solely a part of the product "Flarum". It may contain a mix of packages which are part of the core forum, extensions, and other packages which are custom parts of the user's site.
Merge conflicts may arise when Flarum is updated through a git pull from the repo. It may be overwritten if Flarum is installed from an extracted ZIP file.
HTML could be used in Email contents?
