luceos Sapioit sadly the answer is no. This won't happen in the next beta, because it involves quite a lot, see the issue.
arjoni luceos I know i shouldn't ask for ETA-s but is there any... ETA? I just found out about this project and i am loving it. (hopefully an editor included).
jordanjay29 arjoni No, there's no ETA. But you can follow development via our Blog tag or over at Github.
ComparteyaPagina Yes without Composer, please? hopefully next releasing come the 2 versions With composer and Zip files
luceos ComparteyaPagina the next release will be beta-5 and going around the composer issue is currently not on the roadmap for that specific release. Our apologies for those that are disappointed about this, we are aware of the need to support other installation procedures and can guarantee it will be possible (again) before or on the 1.0.0 release.
Sapioit luceos can guarantee it will be possible (again) before or on the 1.0.0 release. Which is planed to be released.. when?
Dong-HyunDannyKim Wish Developer let us download zip file. It's somehow pain to install Composer. Thank you for great software though.
Dakoom Dong-HyunDannyKim I think it will be an option with the stable release. Just wait a little bit more!
arjoni Dong-HyunDannyKim It's not that hard... https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-install-and-use-composer-on-ubuntu-14-04 http://www.agix.com.au/install-composer-on-centosredhat/

jordanjay29 Folks, if you're having trouble installing or using Flarum, please start a new topic in our Support tag. Let's keep the discussion here on the beta release, thanks.
jordanjay29 Hesperis Nope, you won't be able to go down from stable back to a beta version. You will, however, be able to upgrade from the latest beta to the stable version, but that's many moons away.
bkintanar I tried to upgrade from beta.3 and only got the following from composer. Is this correct? $ composer update Loading composer repositories with package information Updating dependencies (including require-dev) - Removing league/flysystem (1.0.17) - Installing league/flysystem (1.0.20) Downloading: 100% - Removing monolog/monolog (1.18.0) - Installing monolog/monolog (1.18.1) Downloading: 100% - Removing symfony/polyfill-mbstring (v1.1.0) - Installing symfony/polyfill-mbstring (v1.1.1) Loading from cache - Removing guzzlehttp/promises (1.0.3) - Installing guzzlehttp/promises (1.1.0) Downloading: 100% Writing lock file Generating autoload files $
datitisev bkintanar I would think so, but beware, the admin panel will still show that you are using v0.1.0-beta-3. This is a known issue, so don't worry.
Franz To be honest, it doesn't look like Flarum's core has been updated, though. bkintanar Can you show us the contents of your composer.json file?
