1.0.0 Beta 2 Released

Addition of some missing Material icons.
Extensions page has been completely redesigned based on the guidelines.
Elevation has been decreased based on @DMT's suggestion.
Icon alignment has been fixed at the permissions page.
Removed separator.
The code has been simplified by removing some duplicate lines on every style.
Login button layout bug has been fixed.
Admin/Permissions page bugs are now fixed.
Discussion Reply and Follow button bug is fixed.
Check & Refresh button margin has been fixed.
The issue with style file not loading on the admin page has been fixed.

Information about the next release

Next release will feature a switch from MDL to MDC that will look way more Material with ripple effects, animations and motion.

~~Also, support for Beta 8 using @Kyrne's tool (https://discuss.flarum.org/d/6573-convert-your-beta-7-compatible-extension-to-work-on-beta-8)~~ This will be applied after Beta 8 is released to not prevent Beta 7 users use this extension.

Chope As I said, and not to be rude in any way, adding Mobile Support for possibly 500 devices on the Market will take awhile for them. If you honestly want it so bad, start helping instead if you arent.

@arda I hope you dont mind I am going to add a bunch of "design" recommendations on GitHub, they are just going to be my two cents about the Material Theme.

Right now I see a lot of unnecessary "drop shadows" on elements that I do not think need them to be in line with the material theme. I won't be offended if you do not agree with them, just my design tips, I know you are nowhere near close to done and they are probably lower on your to-do list.

While I fix the issues of the theme, I need some of your ideas guys for new features. Maybe some suggestions, please?

PS: This is a screenshot of the upcoming Beta 3 release. It has some minor changes that fixes many issues. Help is highly needed at the repo for Beta 3 to be released. We're 4 days late for it.

If you can't help fixing issues or if you don't have any suggestions, there is something you can do to help.

You can report the missing Material icons at the repo (there is an issue template for it) by testing them at the group badge icon modification area. Just submit all missing icons you saw as issues one by one and I will add them.

I'm busy with fixing issues so I need help with that.

If you disable the extension you will destroy your flarum.. Keep backup.

Since this, apparently, only injects javascript and css, I can't see how it could destroy your forum?

If removing/deactivating it though, I would assume there will be cache issues, and thus have to run this:

php flarum cache:clear

That said,
I am somewhat unsure on what the correct procedure would be to completely uninstall this extension correctly.
Would the following be correct?

$ composer remove extum/flarum-ext-material --no-update
$ composer update extum/flarum-ext-material
$ php flarum cache:clear

If I understand it correctly, it should in theory remove files, auto-load cache and .lock/.json entries?

I disable the extension, remove it, clear the cache but still had the problem.. I was run backup to fix the problem.

Do you have CloudFlare or similar?
Did you get any error messages?

Would be good to know these as to figure out exactly what goes wrong, so it can be fixed ?

Ideally, you could open a new issue here: https://github.com/Extum/flarum-ext-material/issues with as much details for how to reproduce the problem ?

Will help future users of the extensions, or potential forks using this one as a foundation

Kryonoglou it might have been. Though, it depends on what your site said was broken.

I remove the plugin and the Material still was there. The button's was broken and write symbols..

Kryonoglou yea, it might indeed be a cache issues. Although. So in general these types:

Flarums cache (you said you cleared)
Cloudflares cache (did not clear)
Browsers cache (CTRL+F5 - not sure if you cleared or not)

So, in your case most likely 2, or a combination of 2 and 3.

Maybe at some point we can have a cloudflare extension that ties in to a cache clear event and automates clearing the cf cache. Though, I believe that would be a paid effort, either a premium plugin, or paid developer time.

Though, that moving a tad bit outside this topic.

It would in any case be interesting to know if this was indeed the problem or not. Would you be willing to try again?
(If not I might at some point set up a test site for it when I have time)..
