datitisev sanwhere tolgaaaltas Looks like this issue is caused by Secure HTTPs. Don't really have time to investigate further right now.
ProgWeb tolgaaaltas I see ! On my forum it's not possible ... will try to provide more informations about the error. Thank you sir 🙂
Zeokat If i activate "Mediaembed" option, it only allows embed videos when i use [embed] bbcode right?
datitisev Zeokat Mediaembed should aromatically embed sites with no need for bbcode tags (like in this forum). You may need to clear cache a few times for it to properly work, and it won't affect old posts (I think).
JuliusBajaj don't know what is wrong with my forum video URL like this /> https://youtu.be/BN6E2DZ7Syw are not auto-embed? Please, how do I fix it? it works here when I pasted it! I enabled all the options in FriendsOfFlarum Formatting still not working
datitisev JuliusBajaj You might have to clear the cache a few times. It might also not work with existing posts. This sort of thing has happened to me before, generally with any TextFormatter plugin.
Am4rokEU Hello there, Thx for this beautifull extension! A good add to the plugin is maybe Giphy if it's possible. 😃
datitisev Am4rokEU A good add to the plugin is maybe Giphy if it's possible. 😃 You'll have to do this yourself, the extension doesn't add any site-specific settings - that's all part of the TextFormatter plugins. See https://discuss.flarum.org/d/18535-add-mannualy-website-for-s9e-mediaembed.
Aleram Thanks for the great addition! I spent several hours looking for an answer, but never found it. There are links from different sites in mp4 format. When added to the article, they remain links. Some recommend using https://s9etextformatter.readthedocs.io/Plugins/MediaEmbed/Add_custom/, but as I understand it, this solves the issue when all the links are from the same resource. And what about the different sources? Ie I need a player that can play video from various resources in mp4 format. Can anybody help?
Pherinos datitisev I have the same problem like troymccann with the Beta11. It appears in the extensions page, yes...
datitisev Pherinos The extension settings should be located in the 3 dots next to the extension entry in the extensions page.
Nimren datitisev I too have a problem with the extension after upgrading to 11.1 because I don't have 3 dots for settings
Pherinos datitisev As @datitisev I don't have the 3 dots : No dots on FOF Formatting Dots are OK on FOF Linguit Flarum-FOF-Formatting-2.png (Why the second image do not displayed inline?... 😅 )
datitisev iwoow As luceos said, https://github.com/sponsors/datitisev, directly to him https://opencollective.com/fof, towards Friends of Flarum, @datitisev can file an expense (eg coding hours) to get the money 0.1.4 Fix issues with IE in admin area introduced in v0.1.3 🙈 fixes Pherinos, iwoow, Nimren - thanks for your reports Updating composer require fof/formatting
[deleted] Pherinos I think this is an issue with your installation. I am running 11.1 and have this extension - no issues, and I see the dots - and can access settings. Are any errors shown in the browser console ?
