Thanks for the extension, I have a few suggestions to implement in a future.

I'm using First Post Approval extension and unfortunately when I approve a discussion I can't see any message in the webhook. It would be great to have this feature since is the same event but is not recognizing the discussion after approving it.

Another detail I noticed, there is no a way to hide the author when a message is sent. I had to edit the extension to remove the name but it could be interesting to have a setting to choose if you want to print it or not.

Allow selecting multiple tags per webhook (FriendsOfFlarum/webhooks61)
- The tags selected act as an OR query -- if the discussion has any of them (not necessarily all), the webhook will be fired
- For non-parent primary tags, only select the child if you want the webhook to only fire on it. If you choose both the child & its parent, it will fire on discussions that only have the parent
- E.g. this webhook will be fired on discussions that have either the General tag, the approval tag, or both

- For Guests, sends 'new post' or 'new discussion' webhook when post is approved.
- For Admins, sends 'new post' or 'new discussion' webhook when post/discussion is made, and 'post approved' webhook when it is approved

I was looking into getting private discussion webhooks working. Initially, I went to the FoF Byobu and looked into adding tags there but was informed that tags caused issues with permissions. Would it be possible for me to add private discussions to the webhooks? Good idea/bad idea? Would there be a good place for me to start doing this?

My friends and I use Flarum for a pbp and I set up the webhooks to notify people of posts. Works great for everything but our private discussions.

I had an alternative idea to get fancy with the tags/permissions to create private channels, but that's a bad admin experience.

I have a problem of this kind, where instead of being able to select tags, I have something like this:

When I manually add any tag ID from the database, then the tag selection field appears as it should. What could be the issue?

Hi ! Currently experimenting with outgoing webhooks here, and encountering some problems. Here is my setup :

latest flarum with latest fof/webhooks, as a docker image, running locally with access to network
FoF/Webhooks enabled, with a "Slack" webhook for all tags, all events, toward a Huginn dev server my company is using
FoF/Webhooks debugging is enabled

Nevermind, deleted the webhook, then re-added it the exact same way, URL and parameters, and it works. Magic I guess.

ImplicitDeny Even though you fixed the issue, were there any relevant logs that could maybe help figure out the problem? Stuff like extra whitespace around the URL, etc... If not, no worries. Just in case the info can be helpful.

No, I didn't succeed to identify any cause to that, any log/warning/error either in log files or on standard output, no blocked request on host, no discarded message on Huginn side. At this point I have zero clue of what happened, I simply copied the URL, deleted the webhook, re-created it and pasted the URL again.

If I had to take a guess, I would say that somehow, the initially created webhook was not saved/applied. I know it is supposed to autosave, but I can't see any element that can confirm that the webhook was indeed properly set.

I also spinned up a new container in order to try and replicate the problem : I remember messing around with the dropdown list a few times and also clicking multiple times on a few UI elements when trying to configure the webhook for the first time. However, I was not able to reproduce the problem. Not much I can give you here... If I encounter anything useful, I'll keep you updated !
