Is there a way to make it work with with the Blog extension?

I fiddled around a bit and got to know my problem better.
So I want to share a blog post on facebook, and when I do the image in the link is the image i put in in SEO settings.
I want the image to be from the blog post. Any solution?

Search engines will understand the discussions and are even able to show some relevant posts underneath the search results. When you have the extension 'best answer' installed and enabled on your forum, it will mark the discussion as 'answered' on the search results and redirect the user to that specific post. However, depending on your server settings, this can be heavier. It may cost some performance, so it depends on how fast your server is to enable this feature.
Crawl all posts (it's slower on page refresh, but search results will be better)
Any chance you could take a look into this?
Our server is completely oversized but still throttles a lot if that is switched on. Better search results is a great but waiting more than 30sec for a discussion to open instead of 1-2sec is not just "some performance" loss.
What are "votes" in a Google snippet? I mean, where do they show up on the site - is it the likes of the first post or what?

Chihiro that error also happened to other Flarum users who did not use the SEO extension.
Try clearing the cache and verify Flarum is able to override/delete all files in the storage folder. It's possible some files are owned by the wrong filesystem user and that Flarum cannot fully clear the cache.

Is there any way to re-generate meta tags (for og:image and description). Someone edited and replaced JPG in 1st post but extension still taking logo as og:image.

wbntff Hey, meta-tags are currently auto-generated whenever the page is loaded (they are currently not cached). So if an image was changed and it isn't shown, I think the extension might not recognize the image as an image (perhaps the URL does not match the regex).
Currently it's not possible to select a custom static-image or description for a topic. However, I'm currently working on a 2.0 update that will include custom SEO-image, SEO-description and SEO-tags

It seems like Yandex just shows the first text it finds in the page body, which happens to be the text in case javascript can't be loaded (that has display: none applied), rather than jumping directly to the noscript tag or selecting the most relevant part of the page like other engines seem to do. Most likely this wouldn't happen with the SEO extension because the extension adds meta tags in the page with a description that will take priority over the default.
If you have an issue with this extension, please share a website URL where the extension is active so the author can take a look at the problem.

JasperVriends Hi, somehow after changing the image in 1st post and clearing the cache again, og:image got updated with new one !
Facebook takes only .jpg or .png as og:image . It is yet to consider .webp .avif or other formats
In the Share button, is it possible to add more social media sites like Pinterest etc

is there a way to improve the ranking of forum on google (I already use this extension but the ranking is still not very good)
cilia No extension is going to make your forum rank better in Google. You will need to work on content, internal and external linking profile, and web speed. Extensions like this help Google understand your site better, but they don't make it rank.
Encourage your users to create quality content that helps other users. Otherwise, Google will understand that the content on your site does not add value.
I am a professional SEO, and I bet on Flarum because of how it is built. It is far away from the conventional forum scheme, which makes conversations flow and there is always movement. In addition, its loading speed and responsiveness are exceptional (maybe a lot of JS, but Google understands it well).
