Onebox is one of the best features of Discourse, and Flarum still doesn't have something like this.
Looking at https://github.com/discourse/onebox I can see now that Onebox can be used for other apps too, as this one here.

Can we have extension for this now?

The package linked above can not be used in Flarum, though, as it is written in Ruby.

    @Franz I'll contact some poor lad here in the Silicon Valley and see if he can port it over. Lol, too many Ruby devs here with no work because everyone is switching over to NodeJS.

    Im not familiar with this and I'm unable to see a demo but from what I've read isn't this something like the MediaEmbed extension?

      VIRUXE yes but for generating website thumbs from links, if I'm not mistaken.

            Also, good luck "porting" ruby to flarum. You would have to rewrite the entire thing.
