for example, i can add pinned posts as (front page) and mark sticked discussions in it. so the user can view all sticked discussions by selecting pinned from the latest selection area?

Hari discussions marked as FrontPage will set a column added to the discussions table by this extension called frontpage to true or 1 in this case for that specific discussion. This extension also adds a new filter to the discussion list filter drop-down in which if you select "FrontPage" from the Discussions filter, it'll display all discussions that you "pushed" to the "frontpage". You also get a nifty badge like Sticky gives discussions when you mark them as stickied 🙂

It will only show discussions "Marked as FrontPage" and sort them by descending order based on the timestamp of when they were pushed to the FrontPage.

Justman10000 please provide us with the error message from Flarum logs and/or the browser javascript development console. Also, which page are you trying to access and what does it say on the page?

Justman10000 you need to clear your cache and verify all files in <flarum>/storage/formatter and <flarum>/storage/cache are deleted. There's likely a file permission issue and Flarum was not able to delete all files in that folder.

How to set the default filter is the front?

Anyone know how to make "Front Page" sorting only display posts marked as "push to front page"?

currently it displays everything. despite the post marked as front page have a "house" icon on it.

Update: even when i only marked 1 post to front page, the front page sorting shows all posts.
but if none marked as front page, the front page sorting properly shows no posts

update: turns out it works properly if i click the sorting and click front page. But if refresh the page, or directly go to the front page sorting URL, then it doesn't work properly as described in this post.

the syndication extension https://discuss.flarum.org/d/27687-syndication-rss-atom-feeds/31 also didn't work with front page sort
