After Installing Reflar Polls Extension from Bazaar, got Virus Alert from Server

Ralkage the extension was perfect. i really likes its Design and the way it blended with the Flarum. I still suspect my server environment and permissions that is causing the problem. as i said before, i am still not able to uninstall any extensions normally. i need to do it via composer.

iRobin you mean you can't install anything via Bazaar, or also via Composer on the command line ?

What happens when you try ? Is there an error message ?

clarkwinkelmann i can install, but when i try to uninstall from extensions page, i see the following error at the left bottom corner of the screen "Oops! Something went wrong. Please reload the page and try again." any idea?

iRobin you should find the error message in the Flarum logs (<flarum>/storage/logs) or maybe in the Bazaar history tab (click the history icon at the top of the Bazaar page). Alternatively you could enable debug mode temporarily in config.php and try again to see what the error says.

matteocontrini True, it has been fixed for beta 9, but all "Uninstalling" does is roll back the migrations, making you lose all the data related to the extension (except some few exceptions).

iRobin Uninstalling from the admin dashboard is not a feature unless you are using flagrow/bazaar

iRobin assuming everything is working for you again, you are free to install polls again, I removed the file that was giving you the alert after seeing another report from a user.

datitisev yes, i am using bazaar and still i am seeing error "Oops, something went wrong" when i try to uninstall or enable any extension. installation happens without any problem from the bazaar. but when i navigate to extensions page to enable it, i see an error. At present using Composer to install and uninstall any extension. enabling takes some time though. works after several errors.

If I remember correctly that feature is broken for everyone in beta8 and has been fixed in beta9

iRobin Yes, I had the same issue. You'll need to remove the "end_date" row from the table for the installation to complete properly. Do you have access to phpMyAdmin or something like that ?

[deleted] Yes i have access to PHPMYADMIN and just found out i have some permission issue over there. unable to drop the three tables related to Poll extension. created support ticket so check that with my hosting provider.

iRobin Ok. If you do drop the tables rather than just the rows, you'll need to recreate them using the SQL from the post I enclosed. Let me know how you get on.

It's unusual to now have full access via phpMyAdmin yourself BTW....
