Any news of when Private Messaging will be available? I want to move my users from sending me private questions on Telegram to directly on my Flarum site so that they can be more focussed on my Flarum site and participate and read more on my Flarum site rather than on Telegram. Somehow email is not used so much even on repeated requests to send personal queries by email. A private messaging system like this could be used like a support ticketing system too like some wordpress plugins if it works with the flarum email settings seamlessly (i am using ses). If you can please add a Permission option to allow Private Messaging only between Users and Admins/Mods and not between Users to Users, that would also help in possible private misuse of our Flarum sites.

Do you have some news about your extension @Shahiem ? I think a lot of people on here are ready to pay for it.
And i think a lot of users os flarum's boards are waiting for a private message feature (at least my users do )

I don't really think that the extension will be published soon.
It would be nice to hear some updates from the author.
Perhaps someone else would like to develope an private messaging extension instead.

[deleted] I think this new chat plug-in can be developed into a dual-purpose plug-in consisting of public chat rooms + private chat in the future.

      I would be interested if @Shahiem Already got donations for creating the extension. Because for me it looks loke he does not care at all to answer in the thread.

      As he was online in the last weeks and most likely also gets notified when somebody writes here, he has read the posts.

      So what would be the next steps? Should somebody write a private messaging extension or will we just wait?
